Great Sermon! This sermon talks about cattle that are so diseased that they have to be dragged to the place where they can be slaughtered. The sermon says these cattle are fed to our children but the USDA ruled 10 YEARS AGO in 2003 that downed (non-ambulatory) cows CANNOT be slaughtered for human consumption. Those downers don't get into our food supply....they are rendered for use in soap, tallow, pet foods, etc. there have been plenty of undercover videos of slaughter facilities that show downers and inhumane treatment of them and other cattle, which is bad enough, but we don't eat them. Downers aren't even allowed in the auction houses. In Canada it's even illegal to TRANSPORT downer cows or any other animal in bad enough shape such that transportation would be inhumane.
