In Gospel preaching, we cannot tell men universally, "Christ died for you." But we can tell them, whoever they might be, "HE IS YOUR LORD!" The emphasis needed in our preaching is the ABSOLUTE LORDSHIP OF CHRIST. And it is as men become acquainted with this Exalted One that they will find the LORD JESUS CHRIST as a Saviour.
