But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord. (2 Corinthians 3:18) As we learn to keep our eyes on Jesus the work of the Spirit of God begins to change us and make us more and more like Him. Looking at Jesus through the Scriptures we see his glory, and then more glory, and then another glory, and WE are changed from "glory to glory." This is the work of sanctification in us that is bring us to the "measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ."
