It certainly didn't look like a monstrous sin, just something light and fun and colourful. After all, they could both do with a little cash to help them on their way, and maybe just a little extra just in case.

Ordinary people, throughout its history had decided to just peep over the edge to see what gaining these treasures involved, and the unstable edge of the mine had collapsed, leaving many maimed or dead in its depths.
