Great Sermon! Moving to a new house yet having all my things in storage I found myself purchasing a bargain ÂŁ9.99 drill to fix up the new house sign based on a particular scripture. One might wonder why this was so important yesterday when the house has a number of serious repairs!
A friend knowing about the sign said: "what a lovely sign - I'm sure it will be a topic of conversation that will lead to opportunites of witness." This did not really register until I providentially came across Pastor Brown's sermon this Lord's Day morning and the witness of the signboard of Calvary!
Lost and seeking the right way? The Lord Jesus Christ is the answer! 'How can we know the way? Jesus saith 'I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.' John 14:1-6. This sermon is a blessed direction to the only Saviour of lost and hell bound sinners. Wonderfully insructive.

Most Encouraging Sermon! Pastor Brown looks at the signboard nailed to the cross from different aspects.
One aspect though, was a great encouragemnet to me.
That is,God used that sign to awaken the soul of one who read it...the dying thief who was later that day to be found with Christ in paradise.
Pastor Brown put it like this...it became a gospel tract to him !
What an encouragement to myself who displays the Word of God on a placard and goes amongst the perishing lost !
Thankyou Lord for that encouragement from this sermon...may others be encouraged too,to the glory of thy name.
