The existence of light is so important to the existence of life on earth. We cant live without the light of the sun.
Now when you think of the importance of the light of the sun to the world then when you examine the Scriptures you see the importance that God places of God's people being light to the world.
The Philippians were to put their faith into practice. If you are a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ, then you are expected to do the same, you must put your faith into practice.
Your faith should be seen by others in two Principle ways: Your faith should be seen in your ACTIONS and your Faith should be seen in your ATTITUDES. This world is watching us!
Every born again Christian should have desires that come from God. We should have a desire for the Word! We should have a desire for Prayer! We should have a desire for Holiness! I think that HOLINESS is missing from many Christians today, particularly in the Western World. Paul noted that the Philippians lived in a crooked and perverse generation! How much more is our world…crooked and perverse today! Our world is getting darker and darker every year.
We shine and we show the Word of God to a lost world: The Philippians were to put their faith into practice and so should we.
