This week let's focus on the last 3 fruits of the Spirit…goodness, gentleness and self control. Let's continue to be faithful to God and to one another, to be good neighbors to one another, and be gentle to one another, and have self control. With the Spirit working in us we can overcome emotional outbursts, be strong in our spirit and give grace and a word of encouragement to those who are struggling.
Let's meditate on the fruit of the Spirit again this week, allowing the Holy Spirit to form us as followers of Jesus Christ. Galatians 5:22-23 says, "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control." Specifically, let's cooperate with the indwelling Holy Spirit as He forms within us attitudes of faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. These are the virtues that God wants to form in us through this season and every season.
