I want to warn you that Hosea 13 contains some of the most uncomfortable language and imagery in all of Scripture. It is going to say things about God that will be difficult to hear but hear them we must because it is past time for the American church to wake up and realize that God is not going to endure our compromise, drift, and unfaithfulness indefinitely. He is longsuffering — not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance, but, there is a deadline to His offer of grace — after which comes judgment, and I fear we are at that point in America today – just like Israel was here in Hosea's time, the 8th century before Christ. I've chosen to title this message 'When Judgment Comes.'
