In our study we find we stand only in Christ, and that He alone has done all things for us and there is nothing for us to do. We also see in Hebrews 4 that Jesus is our great High Priest, and is always making intercessions for us. Jesus knows all of our infirmities and was tried in all ways as we will ever know and yet He never sinned. So no we could never have stood on our own, Never! We can come to the Father at any time for Jesus has rent the veil and was the last and only sacrifice to set us free.
