The Flood! Some terms simply need no explanation. God's judgement on the earth and his deliverance of Noah and his family serve as a pivotal reminder of man's sin and God's grace. It is impossible to comprehend the magnitude of God's grace until we take a long look at the terrible reality of his wrath.

Great Sermon! Excellent. Powerful. I was thinking as I was listening to you that yes, I imagine there was a whole lot of grieving going on inside the ark. A lot if wailing. Noah's wife likely had siblings and children outside the ark. And Noah's daughters in law surely had parents still alive that even may have told them that your father in law sure is a kook. They may not have believed either but being submissive to their husbands entered the ark. I imagined their horror possibly as their parents, siblings, young nieces and nephews are screaming outside the ark. Yeah. Musta been a whole lot if grief and wailing going on inside that ark.

Great Sermon! Satan is crafty and most people who are interested in the Bible won't be deceived by "fables and stories" like "The Three Little Pigs". However it is possible to tell the story of the flood over and over again without teaching its theology. Ear ticklers want to buy the Noah's Ark Lamp and Wallpaper but they don't want to face the "water of the wrath of God". People turning to fables is simply people telling the Biblical stories over and over never talking about the theology within the story. You can be as lost listening to the "Three Little Pigs" as you can be listening to the story of Noah's Ark. We have to graduate from Vacation Bible School or Children's Church and move up to theology.

Eye opening! Wow. . . I have never heard the flood explained this way. I've always heard more of the kid's version. All preachers should be required to teach the meat and meaning of the Word in such a way. I'm soooo sick of feel good church! A must listen for everyone!
