As we have seen in this series, when national Israel rejected their Messiah, God rejected them and gave the kingdom of God to a holy nation bearing the fruit of it: the church. But was Israel's rejection total and final? In Romans chapter 11 the Holy Spirit gives us an emphatic 'NO!' He shows us that Israel's rejection is neither total, nor is it final. In this first of two messages upon this theme we explore the first of these two points. Their rejection is not total, for even until the present time God has a remnant of ethnic Jews who have embraced Jesus Christ as their Messiah according to the election of grace.
