The Scripture is clear that marriage is a bond that God does not intend to be broken. We can say with assurance that divorce is never the will of God. We must acknowledge that sometimes it does happen. Both parties must be not only willing, but determined to see it through, but that is not always the case. Divorce does inestimable damage to the lives of the children and both parents, which is always put secondary to the feelings and supposed happiness of those seeking to dissolve the home . Marriage is a holy thing that came from the mind of God himself. It is honorable in all, and should not be entered into lightly, nor dissolved without it being forced upon us. This kind of commitment is the only safe and healthy way for children to be brought up.
