REPORT ON DEVON CONFERENCE

I would say it, of course, would I not, but we have just concluded an excellent few days of NCT conference. We had about 30 eager, most attentive and encouraging participants. The sessions went very well indeed, with much discussion which went on long after time was called. The place was beautifully situated, the weather was delightful... A report is being prepared for the press which we hope ET and EN will publish.
Briefly for now, Geoff Volker spoke on Israel -- the people, land and prophecy. Frederick Serjeant addressed the history of redemption through covenants and the blessings of the NC. I addressed all men under law -- the case and the consequences. As and when recordings are available, links will be posted.
Fred and Mary and Tim Serjeant had done sterling work in organisation and this was much appreciated. In the session on what to do next, the response was most warm. There was an unanimous desire to repeat the same, move perhaps to a more central location. Topics were suggested. A steering committee is to be set up... The sense was very strong that this is only the beginning. But what a start! We had people from Czech Republic, N Ireland, Scotland, Italy, US and, of course, England... |
