Wrap your head around this image. Picture you are standing in ocean water up to your knees, as the strong wave is washing over you. At the same time that wave is coming in, you feel the outgoing force of the previous wave. The waves overlap each other as they travel. So it is with the Day of Christ as we have one wave going up and away, and the wave of the Day of the Lord coming in behind that and overlapping.
On this episode of Rightly Dividing, we will be looking at the close of our present Church Age, also called the Age of Grace, and as it closes we will see how it will overlap the coming time of Jacob's trouble. This idea of overlapping dispensations is something that is taught to us all through the Bible, and it is a pattern that will continue right up to the Second Coming of Jesus Christ at the Battle of Armageddon.
