I'm so tired of struggling to make ends meet. I'm tired of looking forward to achieving goals that seem to keep moving further away. I'm tired of trying to impress other people. I'm tired of not having a reliable car. I'm tired of physical exhaustion and fatigue. I'm tired of the way I look, speak, laugh. I'm tired of looking like a failure. I'm not satisfied!
These are the thoughts that plague the mind of a discontented person. Sadly, discontentment is a real danger to each of us, and it fights for our attention with strong arguments.
In this message, it is my intention to encourage you to identify discontentment in your life and to deal with it in the right way. I encourage you to do this, not only because discontentment robs you of a joyful Christian life, but also, because God takes a very serious view of discontentment and punishes it.
This message was delivered in a very personal way, relating personal incidents of discontentment. May the Lord use the battles I have fought to encourage you.
