1. The LORD is in His holy temple. a. The phrase "holy temple" can point to the earthly place of God's abode or to heaven itself. (1) However, when the Lord is in His holy temple it signifies a time when: The Lord is witness against the people of the earth (Micah 1:2)
(2) when the Lord is in His holy temple it signifies a time when: The earth should keep silence before Him (Habakkuk 2:20)
2. The LORD'S throne is in heaven (Psalm 103:19).
a. The Lord is the highest judge sitting on the highest throne in the highest court. b. This is not a future kingdom passage where the Lord's throne will be in Jerusalem.
C. The King's Judgment (Psalm 11:4b-6)
