Demonstrates why it dishonors God to celebrate Christ-mass. Shows that Scripture never commands keeping this "holy" day and that there is no evidence that Christ & the Apostles ever observed this day -- in fact, this syncretism of paganism and "Babylonian" Christianity was not first celebrated until 354 A.D. (when Dec. 25 was chosen, in accord with the Pagan feast of Saturnalia, as the day of "celebration"). More information on this topic, including a link to the FREE BOOK Christmas: A Biblical Critique, is at the link below (search for Christmas). C.H. Spurgeon, in the Treasury of David, on Psalm 81:4, wrote, "When it can be proved that the observance of Christmas, Whitsuntide, and other Popish festivals was ever instituted by a divine statute, we also will attend to them, but not till then. It is as much our duty to reject the traditions of men, as to observe the ordinances of the Lord. We ask concerning every rite and rubric, 'Is this a law of the God of Jacob?'"

Great Sermon! It has been twenty years since we last celebrated Christmas, and we have never regretted our decision to obey the Lord and forsake this wicked and deceitful "holy day." God is faithful to keep those who are His own, and we thank Him for preserving us all these many years from the corrupt Christ Mass celebration of the Antichrist!

Great Sermon! I formerly knew about all the pagan origins of Christmas, but as I spoke to others about them, I added that we need not worry, as long as we are remembering Christ's birth. Now I know better why I was wrong.

Great Sermon! This is a sermon that every Christian needs to hear and obey the word of God. So many religions do not realize that they are turning into Catholics with these pagan holidays such as Christmass and Easter.

Great Sermon! great sermon! it was by these sermons that i heard that the celebration of christmas is a sin in violation of the 2nd commandment. i am hoping and praying that especially in my nation, the reformed church will return to the true standards conformable to the Word of God.
For it is a joy NOT to celebrate Christmass. It has been a burden for many years for me, and now i am free not to celebrate it!
