Text: Mark 8:22-30 | Speaker: Levi Bakerink| Description: Our passage this Sunday marks the shift from the first half of the gospel to the second. Jesus now begins his journey to Jerusalem. Along the way, he encounters a blind man that he heals through a multi-stage miracle. It is not as if Jesus needed two tries to heal him! Rather, this miracle points to the message: we all need our spiritual blindness to be healed so that we can see Jesus for who he truly is. Indeed, as Peter confesses, Jesus is the Christ, and we all must put our faith in him.
