Did God indeed make two separate covenants with mankind, so that there were two different ways of getting into heaven? Did God give the nation of Israel the opportunity to become saved by obeying the law? Absolutely Not.

THE SOUND DOCTRINE OF COVENANTS Is Old testament god an ogre - one who gave His people laws that cannot be obeyed perfectly - that results in condemnation of people who try to obey His law? Find out how the God of the Bible operates from this old testament study of the word of God. May God bless the hearers of this sermon to know the doctrine of Christ.

THE RIGHT COVENANT THEOLOGY Most of the preachers preach another jesus which is evident in their understanding of covenants. Their god in the O.T. is an ogre. They don't preach the Lord Jesus Christ of the Bible described in Matthew 9:13.
Our pastor rightly describes the merciful God who saves thus, "Those who are saved, like Noah, and Abraham, and Moses, and Joshua, and David, and Isaiah, and so on, who are O.T. people, but they have put their trust in the COVENANT OF GRACE. The Lord Jesus Christ has fulfilled the Law perfectly and forever in their place, as their Substitute. Those who are not saved, like Doeg the Edomite, have put their trust in something that they have done that supposedly was pleasing to God. They will be held accountable for all the times that they have not obeyed the Law perfectly, because they are adherers to the ministry of death, which is the COVENANT OF THE LAW." Thank you Lord for this wisdom of God that leads His children to salvation.
