If we have been born again of the Spirit of God we are being conformed to the image of Christ. The Scriptures are clear about that. It is important, therefore, that our concept of the image of Christ be as it is given to us in his written Word. The world certainly has a different concept of Christ than what the Scriptures reveal. We must be careful to know the difference. To perceive Jesus Christ as something He is not will lead to us being something that He is not, thus marring his work in us, and aiding the devil in deceiving the world.
