It is no secret today that within the Reformed Community, there is a debate taking place about the subject of Sanctification. Or even more specifically, how to accurately apply God's Law and God's Grace to daily Christian Living.
That debate is even more focused within one particular denomination: the Presbyterian Church in America. Well-known leaders within the PCA have spoken out on this issue and now the lines of distinction between being a church that is known for an emphasis on either Law or Grace are being drawn.
On June 18th - 21st the 41st General Assembly of the PCA will be held here in Greenville, SC. Just prior to the GA, Second Presbyterian Church will host a “Pre-Assembly Conference” on June 17-18 for the Gospel Reformation Network. GRN is interested in fostering a more biblical understanding of sanctification within the teaching of the PCA.
My guest on the program today, is the Convener of the Pre-Assembly Conference, Dr. Richard Phillips
