As we continue our series on what It means to be "Reformed Baptist." This week our focus turns to the fifth and final point of the Doctrines of Grace, also known as The Five Points of Calvinism. This fifth point is the "P" in the well-known acronym TULIP and stands for "Perseverance of the Saints." The doctrine of the Perseverance of the Saints can be a hard one for many people to accept. This is especially true in modern American Christian culture where all one needs to do to be "saved" is proclaim or profess faith in Christ once, and "really-really mean it!" Then they're free to continue living however they deem fit; nothing can ever cause them to lose their salvation. Is that true though? Is it biblical?
