Lot was rescued due to the prayers of Abraham, but just barely. His family was tainted by the time in Sodom. The New Testament gives warning for people to be prepared for the coming judgment of God that He will pour out in the tribulation before his coming. Let's observe and be warned lest we also incur the righteous judgment of God.
