This is the 20th sermon in a series of sermons through 1 & 2 Timothy. The following was recorded at Island Baptist Church in Beach Haven, NJ. Visit us on the web at www.hopeoflbi.com.
Forfeiture of rights is part of what it means to swear eternal allegiance to King Jesus. Rather than deny Christ, each of the Apostles willingly surrendered their lives over to inhumane beatings, living the life of an outsider, imprisonment, slavery and eventually, public execution. The most noteworthy thing about playing the role of a slave, prisoner or martyr, is that Jesus never tells His followers to give up being a slave, break out of prison or flee from martyrdom. Instead, He teaches His followers how to glorify God in whatever role they've been assigned. If our newly forming global governance continues on its current trajectory these harsh realities may be on the horizon for Christ followers on a global scale. Please watch and share this critical message from 1Timothy 6.
