“ CCM: Circus Church Music ” Once again, CCM proves to be circus church music. While many people would not attend a Bible believing church which preaches the Bible, many would attend a circus church with entertaining gymnastics and acrobatics. However, these gymnastics and acrobatics have no place in The Lord's House on Sunday Morning. Remember Titus 2:1-15. It is time to stop with the foolish jesting and start becoming more sober.

“ Great Sermon! ” Tragically a day late and a dollar short for my church. Have to endure the discomfort of the occasional use of New Calvinist or New Frontier "hymns" when my conscience is not at ease promoting these "hymns" by singing them in worship. Stuart Townend's attitude is especially bad, stating that Jesus would be playing heavy metal and rockin out if he were on earth today. Sounds like another Jesus to me and not the Jesus of the bible. I hope he's not worshipping another Jesus.

“ Reality exposed! ” I completely identify with SL Turner's comments about the topic. Brother Cloud exposes the tragic reality of the carnal and rebellious state of the evangelical scene nowadays. Music is a marker of the heart state. One can define a church and its people by the kind of music they tolerate. Thank you.

It is so sad to see so many otherwise good evangelical churches, capitulating to this issue on every side, some of which within just a few years are totally unrecognisable.
Unfortunately CCM often sets the trajectory for more unbiblical and irreverent practices and often paves the way for ecumenism.
