Paul had been setting forth a number of very reasons that the people of God should be encouraged,that they may have hope because of what God had been doing, was currently doing, and had promised to do on their behalf. Today we will begin to examine the rich truths of Romans 8:29-30, two sentences within this paragraph. Here we read of the purpose of God that He has for His people, a purpose that He had planned from eternity and in eternity had decreed would come to pass in history in the lives of His elect--His chosen people.
