How to depend on God is the overall thought for these sermons. Pastor had verses picked out and randomly called the preachers up and had them randomly pick one of the verses. No advance studying no notes (unless already had written in Bible) no outline; just trust in the Lord. ‘Well doing' doesn't just mean the grand things of ministry. Often times the well doing is in the little things. Those things that we don't think will matter actually may. Even a simple car ride can turn into an opportunity to witness to someone. A smile could be just the thing some down trodden soul might would need to get out of the valley they have been stuck in. For ourselves just trying to stay focused on doing God's will can be difficult but that is why He says to not be weary to put on the whole armor of God so we can stay focused on the tasks at hand. Staying focused will help us to build our treasures in heaven where it counts. To be focused on what we get in the here and now short changes ourselves. Yes, it can be difficult to stay focused, but if we will trust Him to take care of everything else and do what He has asked us to do we can make it.
