Proves that the Bible condemns all man-invented holy days (Christ-mass, Easter, etc.).
Citations from the early church, Luther, Calvin, the Church of Scotland, a Dutch Synod & Civil Government (1625), the British Colonies in the U.S. and the Westminster Assembly all speak with one voice against this Pagan/Romish corruption.
Common objections against the classic Reformed position are also answered.

C.H. Spurgeon, in the Treasury of David, on Psalm 81:4, wrote,
"When it can be proved that the observance of Christmas, Whitsuntide, and other Popish festivals was ever instituted by a divine statute, we also will attend to them, but not till then. It is as much our duty to reject the traditions of men, as to observe the ordinances of the Lord. We ask concerning every rite and rubric, 'Is this a law of the God of Jacob?'"

Great Sermon! Thank God for preachers like yourself who speak against this . Coming out of catholism can't understand why some preachers partake in pagan festivals where it's commanded not too . They say Rome is wrong but come this time of year celebrate it with Rome . Very sad . Praise God for opening my eyes . This will be my 2 nd year not celebrating . I don't feel like Iam missing anything . Just can't believe how long we celebrated this thinking it was the right thing to do . God word doesn't say to celebrate it , it doesn't tell us what day he was born why does man try to add to it .

"I would to God that every holy day (including Christmas - ed.) whatsoever besides the Lord's day were abolished. That zeal which brought them first in, was without all warrant of the Word, and merely followed corrupt reason, forsooth to drive out the holy days of the pagans, as one nail drives out another. Those holy days have been so tainted with superstitions that I wonder we tremble not at their very names." - Martin Bucer, cited in William Ames, A Fresh Suit Against Human Ceremonies in God's Worship (1633), pp. 359-60.

About Biblical Baptism & A Former Reformed Baptist If you are open to it, please see all the free Reformed resources on biblical baptism at http://ow.ly/dew6Q. Also see all the free Reformation resources at “CHRISTIAN BAPTISM: FREE ONLINE RESOURCES (Books, MP3s, Videos, & Articles)” http://ow.ly/dewkY. “My Retraction: A 15 Year Baptist Turns Paedo-Baptist and Becomes Reformed By Dr. C. Matthew McMahon” at http://ow.ly/dewf3, is also useful. Without a biblical understating of covenant theology it hard to see how anyone could come to the correct biblical teaching on baptism. Greg Price's “Covenant Theology & Its Implications, Foundations Of Biblical Interpretation” (free MP3), at http://ow.ly/dewol, is a good basic introduction to covenant theology. Price's “Infant Baptism as Covenant Keeping (Reformed Theology)” (free MP3) at http://ow.ly/dewro, is also helpful in this respect.

Great Sermon! Good sermon, but the Lord was not sprinkled!
I never understood the contradictions in the reformed church; why are some of the residuals of Catholicism are still practiced?
Otherwise, this was a good sermon!

Great Sermon! I cannot argue with what you say in respect of scripture. Christ and the apostles gave us much that is sadly ignored, such as the Spirit lead apostolic church, servant leaders and a widely participating congregation exercising their God given ministerial gifts. We have invented confirmations, religious regulations and worship at a distance. However, I struggle with the interpretation of the transliteration of the Greek verb Baptidso (44 minutes on). It does not mean to sprinkle in Greek. I do not judge you, my brother in Christ. I recognise that we have a difference in interpretation of worship. More than that I praise God that we both love Him. May God bless you and grant both of us His understanding and wisdom.

Great Sermon! Here is a true under-shepherd of the sheep, not afraid to state the clear evidence in God's Word that there is NO celebration of the so-called Festival of the "Christ-mass". Thank you pastor Greg for your faithfulness.
Looking forward to hearing the second part on the paganism of it all!

Must Hear Sermon! Let all those who sit under Pastor Greg Price’s Ministry praise God for him. For unlike the majority of the pantywaist Reformed protestant pastors of our day, he has stood up to take a stand for the truth and call a spade a spade! The preaching of ‘sound doctrine’ is not just harping on the doctrines of Sovereign Grace but exposing and decrying anything and everything that is done in the name of our Lord Jesus which is not according to the Truth! A true witness is not sticking your head in the sand and pretending that all is well (when it is not) but raising your voice and crying out against Hypocrisy and falsehood! [see Isa 58:1]
It is said of our Master – “The zeal of Thine house hath eaten Me up”! If the same cannot be said of YOU, you need to examine yourself whether you truly belong to Him!
When it does not concern a preacher that his Father’s house is being made a ‘den of thieves’ then he is no shepherd but is himself a thief and a robber who has climbed up some other way! [Jn 10;1]
Oh may the good Lord bless Pastor Greg Price and raise up more men like him!

Great Sermon! God's Word preached in truth is a miraculous thing. Do you love Him more than the man made holy day?
I thank God for men who are willing to preach truth instead of fearing losing church members as a result of it. My own church could benefit from such preaching. It's hard to find a church that preaches against Christmas sadly and my husband and myself have not celebrated Christmas (nor have our 4 children) now for 8 years. Everytime we listen to sermons on for and against we always go back to "against Christmas" God's Word is the final authority and that speaks louder to us. I pray that the Lord would use this sermon to reach many.
