In many Christian homes, it would be safe to say that there is no family altar. Indeed, we have come to a point in Christianity where numbers of professing Christians would not even know what we mean when we speak of a “family altar.”
It appears that God's people have long forgotten that the spiritual strength of their church is directly proportional to the spiritual strength of the families which make up their church. And Christian families who are going to be a spiritual blessing and benefit to the church are those who as a family worship the Lord at home.
If there was ever a day when the Church of Christ needed families who are “strong in the Lord and in the power of His might,” it is today. The Church stands in deep need of Christians who will repair this altar of the Lord that has been broken down.
Here is a message about restoring the family altar in your home.

Every Christian Family Must Hear! The family altar is a necessity for every Christian family today; especially in America. It is my prayer that many will have an opportunity to hear this excellent message. Sometimes we can get too busy even in our churches with serving and devotion that we forget the importance of family worship. It's time to return to what has been lost in a great deal of Christian families. I greatly appreciate hearing this.

Wonderfully Great Sermon! This is one of the best sermons available on sermonaudio.com! Every parent, pastor, deacon and elder should listen to this and require everyone in their church to listen to it. If you, dad, grandfather, are not having family altar, then listen, let God change your heart!
