What is service? Webster's dictionary defines service as "to furnish or supply something that is needed or desired." Christian Service, however, is an attitude of the heart that motivates and empowers Christians to give freely and to help others for the glory of God. In Matthew 25 service is depicted as seeing a need and attempting to meet it as if it were to Jesus himself. Christian service looks for opportunities to love others in the name of Jesus, and not only seeing the need, but acting on it.
