II Peter 1:1-3;5 -
1. Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ:
2. Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,
3. According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:
5. And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;
The greatest book and chapter regarding Faith is Hebrews 11. It is the Hall of Faith that we, Christians, should hide in our heart and believe.
Hebrews 11:1 - Now faith is the substance of things hoped, the evidence of things not seen.
Without faith, it impossible to please God. In order to be a Christian, we practice faith by believing in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
How is your faith? What are you putting your faith in? Are you relying on God and taking Him at His Word? Do you know Jesus as your Savior? Are you willing to exercise your first steps of Faith and believe in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus by Faith? Jesus is the Truth, the Life, and the Way! |
