During our previous series we heard that the New Testament answer to the meaninglessness described in Ecclesiastes is the Resurrection. Since Christ has defeated death, our labour conducted 'in the Lord' is not in vain. This week, from Colossians 3:1-4, we will hear how the Resurrection not only gives hope and meaning to our lives, but changes our entire perspective on life. In our Risen Lord we have been given an entirely new vantage point from which to view life from, and we have a whole new arena of life to look to. We are not limited to what we can observe 'under the sun', but are urged to seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. It is there, and there alone, that we truly 'find ourselves.'
