We continue with our sixth lecture through our devotion based on Thomas Watson's book, The Art of Divine Contentment. Tonight's lesson continued chapter 10, "Use III: A Suasive to Contentment". This long chapter will be covered for a number of weeks in parts: tonight, we looked at Watson's answers to the next three (4-6) apologies (or arguments) some Christians give against contentment and to justify discontentment: 4: "But my friends have dealt very unkindly with me, and proved false"; 5: "I am under great reproaches"; 6: "Disrespect in the world: I have not that esteem from men as is suitable to my quality and grace".
