Striving for a 'full-life' is probably unavoidable, and the marketplace is full of offerings to satisfy the demand. Paul tells us that God's own fullness is present in Christ as Lord, and fullness for us is to receive him. Debtors and slaves can't live fully and that is what we are because of our sin. We need to know the triumph Christ had in his death and resurrection. Anything less than this is a deception, and to be deceived is to play into the hands of powers that have no right to rule us and no good to give us.
