Great Sermon! Very blessed message on our sovereign Lord, our King, and our High Priest and His work on our behalf. Noah was still alive during the time of Abraham's father Terah and I have no doubt Noah continued to preach after the flood. Not many of Noah's grandchildren listened to his words obviously. But I am sure at least a few did. I believe Melchizedek was a real king who acted as priest for his people as one of the very few believers of the time. I believe when it says Christ was after the order of Melchizedek who had no beginning of days, it was referring to the fact that his geaneology is not given. Abraham obviously had great respect for such a godly King. But that is my take on it. Either way Melchizedek is a beautiful picture of our Savior and I very much appreciated this message and the glory it gives to our Lord, The King of Righteousness!
