Dear friend, God takes sin seriously! Hear the cry of abandonment of Jesus, the sinless Son of God on the cross, "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?" as he vicariously suffers under the wrath of God due to human sin not His own.
Jesus is made a curse so that curse-deserving sinners like you and I might be set free; forsaken by God so that we might be received with full pardon; a pardon and freedom that will only be experienced by those who turn from their sins to Christ by faith. Call upon Him while He is near.
