THE PRAYER OF FAITH: A GUIDE TO EARNEST SUPPLICATION

_____ OF OUR FOCUS:

Trust is in God, not in the prayer itself (IN THE SPIRIT).

Focus on who God is, what He wants, and how to do it His way.

Ask "in faith, nothing wavering" (James 1:6).

Prayer is communication with God.

_____ OF PRAYER:

We beseech God, trusting Him to act.

Supplication means recognizing our great need and His help.

OUR _____ WHILE PRAYING:

Ask in His will – "If I regard iniquity... the Lord will not hear me" (Psalm 66:18).

Seek purity – "This is the will of Christ – even your sanctification" (1 Thess. 4:3).

Be faithful in waiting – Not just praying and forgetting.

Persistent prayer – Keep asking, remain steadfast, avoid discouragement.

THE _____ OF OUR MIND:

Pray earnestly with conviction.

"He is, and is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him" (Hebrews 11:6).

"They that wait on the Lord shall renew their strength" (Isaiah 40:31).

TRUTHS TO REMEMBER:

God is true, loving, just, answers prayer, provides.

THE _____ OF OUR PETITION:

"Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit..." (Ephesians 6:18).

Exercise spiritual muscles:

Fast (e.g., one day a week).

Morning devotions in a quiet place.

Serve through witnessing and helping others.

Consistency matters!

Just like training muscles, spiritual endurance requires effort.

THE PRODUCT OF OUR RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD:

Patience, perseverance, and watchfulness in prayer.

God's timing is perfect – He is not a genie granting wishes.

"What father, when asked for bread, would give a stone?" (Matthew 7:9).
