We here it all the time that something is unfair. So let's look at some unfair practices. First there was the unfair interruptions. Paul and Silas were trying to serve the Lord and a demon kept trying to interrupt them. This led to an unfair reward. The masters saw their loss not her gain and it made them mad. Then they dealt Paul and Silas an unfair catching. These men had done right and now they were under arrest and about to be hurt for it. In the process they leveled unfair accusations against them and on top of it dealt them unfair embarrassment by ripping off their clothes in public. Unfair imprisonment followed, for the crime of doing good. But Paul and Silas responded to the unnatural not the unfair. With all this going on it would be unnatural to pray and sing praises. There was even an unnatural concern for all the others in the prison. It is a matter of your perspective; are you looking at yourself for what is unfair or to the unnatural that God is doing?
