Jesus gives us a picture of the near future and the far away future. The only place to be safe is in Christ. We must be ready. Are we doing the good works that God has called us to? God does not need us, but He calls us to come on board with what He is doing so that we can enjoy His blessing. We need to be ready by trusting in Jesus that the plan He has for our lives is really good. Every day we need to write God a blank check.
