We are all aware of plants and agriculture. Every season just before the rains the farmer prepares the ground, plant seeds weed and care for the plants as he waits for harvest. For these plants to reach maturity and produce fruits, growth is necessary. Where there is life, there must be growth, and where there is no growth, there is no life. Growth therefore is a sign of development. Therefore a Christian is expected to grow in their spiritual life. When Spiritual growth is not evident, then we have a problem. God desires that all Christians should grow and mature in their Christianity for His own glory. In this series we will look at four things relating to Christian/spiritual growth, these are; what is spiritual growth, the need for spiritual growth, the nature of spiritual growth, and the results of spiritual growth.
