In this message, we continue our look at God's revelation of himself to Israel. This is God's revelation of Himself after Israel had sinned against at Mount Sinai. At first we discuss the general grace of God to all men. Lamentations 3:22,23. We look at the world's rejection of God; realizing if God dealt in justice, He would consume this world. We look at Israel's rejection of God. We also look at the definition of grace, which is favor. We discuss why it must be unmerited. We look at Exodus 33 to see how God was gracious to Israel. Do we understand how gracious God is? Do we understand to mercy and grace of God displayed to us everyday? We conclude the message by looking at Particular grace, grace for His people. Look at the throne of God. Look at it's glory. Do you think a sinful creature would be allowed into God's presence? In Particular Grace, we investigate the special grace which God gives to His people. We look at Titus 2:11 and Ephesians 2:8 to see grace brings salvation and is a gift from God. So, in Particular Grace, we see God is gracious to His people when He saves them. Salvation is the greatest expression of grace. If grace is favor to those underserving. When a holy God smiles with favor on wretched sinners; this is truly grace.
