At 12 noon God brought darkness over the entire land. When the sun is at its brightest, God said, "Let there be darkness." What was God saying in the darkness? For those who have the eyes to see the darkness of Calvary reveals an awful truth.

NOT COMPLETE! THE DEATH OF CHRIST WAS ONLY SECONDARY TO US. IT'S NOT ENOUGH TO TELL A BUNCH OF SELF ABSORBED AMERICANS THAT CHRIST DIED FOR THEM WITHOUT TELLING THEM THE REASON WHY HE HAD TO DIE. CHRIST DIED FIRST FOR GOD'S RIGHTEOUSNESS BECAUSE IN THE FORBEARANCE OF SIN HE PASSED OVER THE SINS PREVIOUSLY COMMITTED. HE DIED FOR HIS GREAT LOVE OF THE FATHER AND IN DOING SO GOD'S JUSTICE WAS SATISFIED. WHILE IT IS COMPLETELY TRUE HE DIED FOR US BUT ONLY SECOND TO THE FATHER AND, IN THAT, HE IS TRUSTWORTHY. THINK, IF GOD WOULD NOT LET SIN GO UNPUNISHED BUT MADE HIM SIN AND PUNISHED HIM FOR THAT IMPUTED SIN THEN WHY SHOULD WE NOT TRUST HIM!

Great Sermon! Thank-you. It was difficult to listen to. It is every time but, before I stray I want to look at the cross and consider the cost, then I am sane again. Thank-you.
