It is a fatal error to base our faith on our intellectual understanding while we remain unsurrendered to the will of God. "If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine..." Jesus said in John 7:17. The man born blind had more understanding than the Pharisees, when he said, "...if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth his will, him He heareth." We cannot KNOW and have understanding until the theme of our existence is, "Not my will, but thine be done." That is the only place where there is true peace with God, and where we "...KNOW the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge."
