II Doctrine: The death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ is the central event in history. The living God offered his perfect Son as a sacrifice for the sins of the World. Jesus Christ has ransomed those who truly call on his name from the hands of the Devil. We now live as the family and army of God in this world. Militantly declaring the Gospel of hope and salvation to the world, we extend the Kingdom. The Gospel is the great sword which cuts sin out of our lives and restores us spiritually. Regardless the conditon our life is in when we come to Christ, all is made new when we are born again.
III Reasons: 1) The whole world is saturated with conflicting evil worldviews. (Genesis 3:8-15) 2) The thousands of man made laws in this world only create more confusion. (Romans 1:18-32) 3) There must be truth for people to stand on to ensure their survival in a fallen world. (1 Corinthians 3:18-23) IV Application: 1) The answer for this ball of confusion we live in is the Word of God. 2) The Word of God sets us free in time and eternity. (1 Corinthians 15:1-11) 3) Living in Christ we become a Nation that cannot be destroyed in time or eternity. (Romans 1:1-7)
