Here is the description of the evangelical church today, including most Baptist, the great majority of Baptists. Verses 14 and 15: They have healed the brokenness of My people superficially saying, “Peace, peace,” but there is no peace. The point of the prophet writing that is this. There's a serious sin and evil among the people of God, and the prophet comes in and says, “It's not all that bad. It is something to be concerned about, but not as bad as you think, and it's easily fixed.”

Solid word Listening to Brother Jeff’s old messages are some of my favorite things to do. Thankful for this culmination of sermons for those of us who did not grow up at GLC.

Must Hear! Brother Jeff what a great blessing it is to hear your sermons. I am one of the 10,000 plus who download your sermons and teachings and those of the brethren, also sharing them with others here in Australia. In these latter days it is very hard to find a church that is Biblicaly sound. May God continue to bless your church for preaching the true word of God in boldness, trusting Him, that His Word will accomplish that which it is sent to do. Our God and Father does amazing things through those who put their trust in Him. Is there anything our God can't do? Thank you.

Great Sermon! Pastor Noblit does an excellent job bringing up what even a young child who hears Gods name taken in vain at their Bible camp knows, that the Church must exercise discipline. Pastor Noblit uses the Book of Acts to show that proper use of discipline will bring respect and blessing to the Church. We need to pray that our Pastors can exercise their calling faithfully, or their sheep will be scattered.

Excellent Message! I've wanted to listen to this message and part 2 since they came out in February, but intermittent Internet service in bush Alaska made it difficult. Now that Anchored in Truth is on Sermon Audio, I've been able to download this message (& part 2) and my family and I have listen to them for our Friday Family Night. AWESOME!
These messages are a must hear for all church leadership! These messages will be made available for our leadership with follow up on how we can persevere in purity as a True Church of Jesus Christ. Thank you, Pastor Jeff.
