This message was given by Pastor Jonathan Stobbs as he continued his evening ministry in Paul's Epistle to the Philippians. The words of Pastor Stobbs himself helpfully introduce this message, 'We come to a wonderful expression of the exaltation of Jesus. The consequences of His suffering has not only seen redemption accomplished for sinners, but has seen Him given the highest crown that His humble service and fulfilling of His Father's will so richly deserved. Jesus humbled Himself for others, and God highly exalted Him; the outflowing result of this is that God Himself is glorified. This, of course, should be the ultimate end of all that we do – to glorify God. As Paul continues to point us to the Saviour as the supreme example, he makes it clear that to be humble places us in a position where God can bless us. in the workings of the Trinity and the exaltation of the Son to the glory of the Father.Earthly words can only begin to describe the wonder of these things. The Scriptures are euphoric in ascribing the exalted Christ!'
