We are all surrounded by good and bad examples of spiritual life but our best mortal example is Abraham the Old Testament patriarch because his faith moved him to obey God in all things and in all situations. Abraham was moved in many directions and tempted in many ways but he obeyed God. Like Abraham, Christians have many trials and bear many burdens but their primary ojective in life is t obey God. To obey God is our mission, our goal, ad our objective.

“ The Love of God ” "The love of God constraineth us..."(2 Corinthians 2: 15). I love this sermon. We do the will of our Father out of love not fear. Not to be saved but because we are saved. I wish I heard this preached more often.
