NOTES & QUOTES: In forensic science, there is a rule, known as the Lockyear Principle, that simply stated, says that "every touch leaves an impression." Many a criminal has hated the day that principle was discovered. However, many a believer has rejoiced, thanking God for the many touches of a a risen Christ, who has left his Impression, too many times for us not to believe that he is alive and well, ruling from on high.
It was natural that Christ would rise from the dead. He didn't deserve to die. His death was not for what he had done wrong, but for what we have done wrong. It seems only logical that Jesus was rewarded for his thoroughly godly character. Let us give thanks that HE kept all the commandments that we, ourselves, have so often broken.
