Great Sermon! Why is it NOT AT PRESENT POSSIBLE to receive vidoes of the Toronto FPC services live on the internet?

Informative The philosophies of different historical periods and their trends of thought are presented in depth and detail. Very beneficial and helpful to develope a biblical worldview.

Great Message! This message traces the history of human philosophy and music and its effect upon culture and Christianity in thinking. If you listen to this you will never think of music as "neutral" again, and will hopefully gain much discernment. Time for an old fashioned Album/CD burning? Think about it: "YOU ARE WHAT YOU LISTEN TO". Music is indoctrination, and not just in the words.
Christians must practice what the Bible teaches in regards to their music (and all "culture" issues) oh their faith is a mere profession.

Great Sermon! I have listen to these sermons countless number of times. I have even recommended them for our assembly. Again, every generation needs to hear these sermons by Dr. H. T. Spence

Great Sermon! I first heard this sermon in 2005 and up to this day I listen to it every so often. This man is Godly and is filled with understanding-the second and perhaps most important mechanism of The Trivium. May God bless his days and give him health and strength and safety to preach long even unto HIS coming. I love him very much.

Great Sermon! A "keeper"! This sermon put great perspective on the timeline of music in relation to philosophy. While listening to this sermon while working overtime, I found myself taking notes!

Great Sermon! Dr.Spence brings a well qualified scholarly, kind, & spiritual approach to this subject. Anyone interested in more information should visit the Foundations Bible Bible College Bookstore (www.foundations.edu) website and order his book-Confronting Contemporary Christian Music and tape set corresponding to the book. There are also other great free online sermons and publications available. A BIG THANK YOU, to Toronto Free Presbyterian Church for putting these 3 sermons by Dr.Spence online! Dr.Spence's book is also translated in Spanish as a resource for our Spanish friends. The name of it is: Enfrentando a La Musica Cristiana Contemporanea (I couldn't put the little accent marks in over the Spanish words). Both books cost $18.95@.

Great Sermon! Thank God, This is a manifestation of truth, though it hurts, it is the truth. It wounded me and I need God to heal me, to save me anew and deliver me from destructive elements in music and art. For I am a great music lover and I am an artist, this message will inspire me to be pure and sane in all my endeavours. I recommend it to anyone who LOVES the TRUTH and won't be too proud to humble up and seek help and assistance from this annointed message. Hope I'll be disciplined and inspired to listen to the other two, for I stumbled on this one through nothing but The HELP of God Himself. Praise GOD!

A Must for all parents and concerned believers Give yourselves time to hear and take to heart what he is saying. It is not an "easy" listen BUT is deep and well taught and will help parents to pray for their children.

Brilliant Sermon! It's sermons like these that make one realise why TBN doesn't want Dr. Spence on their show!
Like Jimmy Swaggart used to say... "the boat needs rocking!"
