Our convictions ought to be to please God first. Whatever we do, or do not do, ought to be motivated by our love for God and not for the praise or approval of other people. We are to do whatsoever we do heartily, as unto the Lord. We serve Him because we love Him. Whatever we do for others should be based upon our love for God, and that we are doing it for Him.
